ENRIC REGULL participates in the European project LIGAWINE

Viticulture is undergoing a period of change. Climate adaptation, resource efficiency, and the need to find new ways of working are among the sector’s current challenges.

In this context, at ENRIC REGULL we are joining LIGAWINE (Low Input Grape Growing and Winemaking), a European project focused on the development and validation of new solutions for a more efficient viticulture prepared for future challenges.

What is our role?

Within the project, we participate as an end user and innovation tester.

This means we will contribute our expertise in viticultural plant material, nursery, and field to help evaluate new solutions under real working conditions.

For us, this part is key. A solution may work well in an experimental environment, but it is necessary to see how it responds when applied to the day-to-day operations of the nursery and the vineyard.

From the laboratory to reality

At ENRIC REGULL, we understand innovation from a very practical perspective.

Therefore, within LIGAWINE, our role will be to observe how these new proposals behave in the face of real factors such as climatic conditions, agronomic constraints, or the operational needs of daily work.

The objective is not only to check if a solution works technically, but also if it can be useful, viable, and applicable for professionals in the sector.

Participation consistent with our history

Since 1889, our history has been linked to the evolution of viticulture.

Over the years, we have combined experience, technical knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement to offer quality plant material and adapt to the new challenges of the sector.

Being part of LIGAWINE fits perfectly with this way of working: putting experience at the service of testing, validation, and the real application of new solutions.

Sharing and continuing to learn

Participating in a European project like this also allows us to share experience with other companies, research centers, and professionals in the European wine sector.

It is an opportunity to continue learning, exchange knowledge, and contribute to validating solutions that can help viticulture adapt better to the challenges of the coming years.
